Carson City Elementary Mileage Club
Children run or walk laps whenever they are outside.
Every five miles earns a token for their shoelaces. There is no race and no ranking — the only number we publish is how far the school has gone together.
What a child can earn
A token for the chain every 5 miles, and:
Club T-shirt at 25 miles The big one. Most children reach 25 miles, and the shirt advertises the club all year.
Mileage Club pencil at 50 miles Small, cheap, and something they use every day.
Wristband at 75 miles Worn, not put in a drawer.
100-mile medal at 100 miles Presented at an assembly at the end of the year.

Signups open once this is paid for.
We will not take a child’s place until we know we can give them what we have promised. The shirts, tokens and chains for a year cost $1,000, and $0 of that is in.
